It feels like every answer comes with three new questions.
One day you’re helping with appointments and medication reminders.
The next you’re trying to understand care costs, assisted living, home care, Medicaid, and how long the money will last.
And the more you learn, the more there seems to be to figure out.

You’re doing the research. You’re asking questions. You’re trying to make good decisions.
But everything is connected.
Care affects finances.
Finances affect housing.
Housing affects care options.
And before long, you’re trying to sort through decisions you never expected to be making.
You're probably here for one of two reasons.
Something happened. A fall, a hospital stay, a visit that worried you, and now you're making decisions faster than you expected and trying not to get them wrong.
Or nothing has happened yet, but you can see it coming, and you'd rather have a plan than wait for the call that forces one.
Either way, you're in the right place. These conversations are built for both.
Hi, I’m Christen Bergeron
I spent 25 years working inside senior living communities and later served as Vice President of Operations for two of the country’s largest senior living companies.
Over the years, I learned that most people don’t need more information. They need help understanding what information matters.
That’s the perspective I bring to these conversations.
Together, we’ll look at the decisions in front of you, talk through the factors that may affect them, and identify questions you may not even know to ask yet.
One thing worth knowing before you book
When you start looking into this, almost everyone you talk to is attached to one answer. The community wants you to choose them. The home care agency wants you to buy hours. A financial planner knows the money but has never run a community and can't tell you what care really costs or how fast needs change.
I spent 25 years inside of senior living. I know the care and I know the financial side, and I'm not selling you either one. I work for your family, which means I can tell you when staying home is the smarter move, and just as easily when it's time to stop waiting and make a change.
The questions are usually different, but they tend to sound something like this:
• Can Mom afford assisted living?
• How long will the money last?
• Is home care really cheaper?
• What happens when more care is needed?
• Should we sell the house?
• What happens when savings start running low?
If those questions feel familiar, you’re exactly who I created these sessions for.

Book a Quick Decision SessionIf you leave the call and still don't know what to do next, just tell me before we hang up and I'll refund you.
Most families I talk to call me after something changes, and then find themselves deciding in a few days what really deserved a few weeks.
If that's where you are right now, that's exactly what these sessions are for, and we'll move at the pace you need. And if you're not there yet, a little time now means you'll already know your options when something does change.
